I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich’s Department of Sociology and an associated researcher at the Department of Political Science. I earned my PhD at the European University Institute in Florence, having previously studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Zurich, Sciences Po Bordeaux, and the American University of Beirut.

 

My research interests are in comparative politics, political sociology and political behaviour, with particular interest in democratisation processes and party-voter linkages  in post-communist contexts and beyond.

 

From February 2026, I will serve as a Visiting Professor of Comparative Politics at the University of Vienna.
